Happy New year hunnies. Yeah I know I am late ! Forgive me. Well I have been up to a lot with my hair. I really had fun with a little colour and I tried the much talked about Freetress Attrak 4 piece hair. Look out for a blog on that very soon. Today though, I had to tell you about my No hair extension day. Yes ladies. I truly recommend that once in a while. Hair weaves enhance our look, take us from drab to ermahgerd fabulous, but there is nothing better than showing your own hair some really big love when u get the chance. Last night I shampooed and deep conditioned my hair. This morning I put a moisturizer in and just massaged my scalp.
For the rest of the day I will just allow my own hair to soak up the sun and feel the wind go through it. It helps too that the hair smells yummy. Do I feel naked without my extensions? I sure do! Don't you as well? Funny isn't it ?
Not sure what I am going to do with my hair next. Honestly I am thinking of the ten inch 1b 33 (black and wine color) that are in my hair bag. I haven't worn those yet. I might try some clip ins with those; or a wig. Choices. Choices. Today though , the real hair gets all the love. Hey feel free to send me pics of your No hair extensions day . ☺
New Year means new hairstyle, eh? Not a bad idea, actually. Haha! Anyway, I wish you posted a photo of your hair extension before you took it off. I bet it looks great on you. Still, I agree that you need to give your hair a break from various hairstyling from time to time. Take care of those lustrous locks!

ReplyDeleteA new year, a new look! I think you look AMAZING! This also serves as a reminder to all the ladies that our hair needs time to breathe and be free of excess, just the way that our lungs do. I also feel naked when I don't have my extensions, but it feels good to be natural for a bit and not have to worry about the maintenance!
